Forward Edge-AI in collaboration with the University of Texas San Antonio (UTSA) established the National DigiFoundry (NDF) as an innovation sandbox. Additionally, NDF presents an opportunity for public and private sector innovators to work together to mitigate and deal with a range of risks, frauds, and scams in this space. By fostering a public/private partnership with extensive participation, the NDF project aims to create an inclusive environment that caters to the diverse needs and interests of society, thereby democratizing financial systems and reducing inequalities. The project is funded by the National Science Foundation.

Below are some CAQs and FAQs about the National DigiFoundry. If we have missed any that you have found, please let us know.

The first step to become a patron. You can do so by clicking here! This will give you access to member only content and advanced notice for NDF events. 5. How do I set up and register my Stargazer Wallet?

6. What is a National Digitoken?

The National DigiToken (NDT) is the cryptocurrency that will be the primary digital asset used within the NDF. They serve as the platform’s economic engine and are the internal exchange currency used for paying transaction fees and participating in NDF activities. $NDT is not traded on the open market or listed on any token exchange. Operationally, $NDT will be used as the internal funding mechanism for resourcing topical working groups.

7. What are the working groups?

Working groups are common ground where industry leaders can discuss the future of technology as well as vote on the next topic of discussion. Click here to find out more about what working groups are available.

8. What is a DAO?

A DAO, or Decentralized Autonomous Organization, is an organization run by computer programs and smart contracts on a blockchain, enabling transparent and collective decision-making by its members. DAOs eliminate the need for a central authority, operating autonomously based on predefined rules and conditions encoded in the blockchain.

10. How do I use my tokens?

Your tokens can be used to access work groups and education and to vote on NDF proposals or initiatives.

11. How are work groups funded?

There are 4 ways a work group can be funded:

  1. NDF Work Group Proposal – An NDF member submits a proposal to start a new workgroup. The proposal is reviewed for completeness and made available for review by all members. A minimum number of votes ($NDT) is established to instantiate the new working group. A wallet address is made available and a deadline is set for tokens to be transferred in support of establishing the new work group. If the minimum is exceeded, the work group is chartered. If not, all voters will have their tokens refunded.

  2. RFI/RFP Response – An NDF member negotiates with the NDF the inclusion of the NDF infrastructure as a component in the proposal. Required funding is included as a budget line item in the cost proposal. Upon award, funding is used to support contract deliverables.

  3. Member SBIR/STTR Response – The NDF co-authors an SBIR or STTR response with one or more NDF members. Required funding is included as a budget line item in the cost proposal. Upon award, funding is used to support contract deliverables.

  4. Sole Soure Bid - An NDF member negotiates with the NDF the inclusion of the NDF infrastructure as a component in the proposal. Required funding is included as a budget line item in the cost proposal. Upon award, funding is used to support contract deliverables.

12. How can I access the training?

To access the training, you must be a bronze member and join the education working group. The majority of the training is free with the exception of certain courses that will cost National Digitokens. You can find out more about the training offered by clicking here!

  • The second mistake is a pasting issue with the Metagraph address. Ensure there aren't any additional symbols when copying over the details when adding the token. A walkthrough is available below:
